Cartoning Machine Safety Operating Procedures

1. Pre-operation Preparation

- Training and Certification: Operators must receive focused training and pass relevant assessments before starting work to ensure they are familiar with the equipment's operating methods and safety regulations.

- Equipment Inspection: Before each use, the cartoning machine should be inspected, including mechanical parts, electrical systems, sensors, etc., ensuring all parts are intact, without looseness or damage.

- Cleaning the Work Area: Keep the work area clean, remove all irrelevant items, and ensure unobstructed passageways.

 

2. Operating Procedures

- Wearing Protective Equipment: Operators should wear appropriate protective equipment, such as safety helmets, goggles, non-slip shoes, and work clothes, to avoid accidental injury.

- Starting the Equipment: Start the cartoning machine step by step according to the operation manual. Perform a no-load test run first, and only put the equipment into formal production after confirming normal operation.

- Monitoring Operating Status: During operation, the operating status of the equipment should be closely monitored, paying attention to the various parameters on the display screen, and promptly identifying and handling any abnormalities.

- Do not touch unnecessarily: During equipment operation, do not touch moving parts or open the protective cover to avoid accidents.

 

3. Maintenance and Care

- Regular Maintenance: Regularly maintain the cartoning machine, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacing worn parts to ensure the equipment is always in good condition.

- Troubleshooting: In case of equipment malfunction, stop the machine immediately and notify qualified maintenance personnel for repair. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself.

- Log Recording: Record the equipment's operating status and maintenance details in detail for future tracking and management.

 

4. Emergency Handling

- Emergency Shutdown: In case of abnormal equipment conditions, immediately press the emergency stop button to cut off the power supply and prevent the accident from escalating.

- Evacuation of Personnel: In an emergency, quickly evacuate personnel from the site to ensure their safety.

- Reporting Accidents: Report the accident to your supervisor promptly and cooperate with relevant departments in the investigation and handling.
